Obituary Condolences

Barbara Ellis Jolly, passed away suddenly on Feb. 4, after a short illness at Weymouth Health Care Center where she was a resident for 5 years. Barbara was born in Cambridge on August 26, 1921 the youngest child in a family of 8 all of whom are now reunited. She leaves behind her niece, Gayle Paradiso of Virginia Beach who with her husband, Richard, both adored their Auntie Barb. Barb helped to raise Gayle with a love that grew stronger as both grew older and when Gayle married, Auntie welcomed Richard with the same affection. Barb's greatnieces, Pamela Holt of Sunnyvale, CA. Christine and Michelle Morgan were very dear to Barb as was their mother, Elda, all of Marblehead. Jean Ellis of Framingham MA, sister-in-law, was a constant in Barb's life - always there through good and bad times. Barb began a friendship with her neighbor, Connie, in Abington, that turned to respect and love for each other. When Connie married Joe, he became very "special" to Barb also. When Barb's husband, Frank, died, Joe and Connie invited Barb into their lives and took very good care of her until she died. A memorial service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams St., Abington Saturday, Feb. 23, at noon. Interment will take place beside her husband Frank at a later date in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne. For directions and online guest book www.quealyandson.com
