Henry E. Fidrocki M.D.

Henry Edward Fidrocki M.D., 90, of Milton passed away Aug. 15, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Henry served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a 2nd Lieutenant and was injured on his 23rd mission. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. A high school graduate of Boston English and a college graduate of Boston College and Tufts Medical School, Henry interned at Boston City Hospital and was a resident at New England Medical Center and later joined the staff at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and Braintree Rehab Hospital. Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Ginni Fidrocki; loving father to Virginia Mason and her husband Gary of Charlton, their children, Jill, Christie, Greg, and Gary; Edward Fidrocki and his wife Debra of Milton, their children, James and Diana: Kathleen Bogner and her husband William of Milton their children, Kevin, Michael and Kristen; Elaine Barter and her husband William of Quincy their children, Kristina, Kathleen, Jacqueline, Joseph, William, Ryan and Kelly; William Fidrocki and his wife Dianne their children, Jake, Kaelyn and Thomas of Weymouth. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; beloved brother of Eugenia Saniuk of West Roxbury, Alfred Fidrocki of Maryland and Walter Fidrocki of Ipswich. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. in Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton, Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
