Doris M. (Bowen) Crittenden, of Holbrook, passed away Dec. 15, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Born in Boston, Doris was raised in Dorchester. She was a resident of Holbrook for 44 years. Doris enjoyed Bingo, bowling and reading. Her home was always open to her family and friends for a cup of tea and advice. Beloved wife of the late John Crittenden. Loving mother of Karyn Molloy and her husband Philip of Holbrook, Thomas Crittenden and his wife Carol of Randolph, Nancy Cirone and her husband Edward of N. Reading, and John Crittenden and his companion Cindy Dennison of Franklin. Devoted sister of Donald Bowen of Shirley and the late Paul Bowen and his wife Janet Bowen of Holbrook. Honey Ma of Kimberly, Brian, Melissa, Michael, Matthew, Melanie, Christopher, Chad, John, and Shannon, and great-grandmother of Tyler, Kailey, Ryan, Alexis, Samantha, Aiden, Garrett, Alyxis, Magnolia, and Evan. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook, Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Josephs Church, Holbrook at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
