Susan M. Zopatti

Officer Susan M. (Lawson) Zopatti a lifelong resident of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2016 at the age of 50. She was a graduate of Braintree High School and later the Police Academy. Susan was a Braintree Police Officer for 20 years. Beloved wife of Mark Zopatti. Loving mother of Jason Hogan of Braintree, son of John Hogan. Dear step mother of Lauren Novatkoski and her husband Jim of N.J., Lisa Zopatti and Allison Zopatti of Braintree. Cherished daughter of Barbara A. (Migliorini) Lawson and the late Joseph M. Lawson Jr. of Braintree. Devoted sister of Stephen Lawson of Braintree and Patricia Raymondi and her husband Dan of Whitman. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and a nephew and niece. She will be deeply missed by many other relatives and friends. Her happiest moments were spending time with her family and her precious dog Libby. Her interests included camping at Normandy Farms, trips to the Cape, painting and crafting, listening to music (U2!), and shopping on line. Reposing at the Cartwright Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree until Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
