Teresa A. Hughey
GAFFNEY, SC-- Teresa Alexander Hughey, 51, of 122 Amanda Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her residence.
Born in Gaffney on January 30, 1962, she was the wife of Eddie Thomas Hughey of the home and was the daughter of Don and Margie Jolly Alexander of Blacksburg, SC. Teresa was formerly employed as a dental assistant, was an avid Gaffney Indians and South Carolina Gamecock fan, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, is a daughter, Heather C. Hughey of the home; a brother, Terry Alexander and wife, Tammy of Lexington, SC; a sister, Donna Davis and husband, Ricky of Blacksburg; her parents-in-law, Roger and Martha Hughey of Gaffney; a brother-in-law, Brent Hughey and wife, Karen of Gaffney; nieces and nephews, Lance, Lauren, Cody, Bryson, Stephanie, and Dylan; and great-nephew, Jerrett. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Mary Jolly and Mack and Jessie Alexander.
The family would like to extend special thanks to her church family of Northside Baptist Church of Gaffney, SC, Dr. Adams, Dr. Pryor and Dr. Corso and their staffs.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the Church with Dr. Larry Melton and Rev. Joel Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the residence, 122 Amanda Drive, Gaffney.
