GAFFNEY, SC-- Betty Faye Martin Bramlett, 80, of 225 Ellis Ferry Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Billy Arch Bramlett and the daughter of the late Boyce Henry Martin and Lula Ray Hughey Martin. Mrs. Bramlett was a retired assistant kindergarten teacher from Luther-Vaughn Elementary School and a member of Kirby Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, Martin Craig Bramlett and wife, Jill of Gaffney; a daughter, LuAnn Phillips and husband, Dale of Gaffney; and three grandchildren, Cameron Bramlett, Courtney Bramlett and Tyler Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, January, 2, 2013, at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Will Vergara and Dr. Scott Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
