GAFFNEY, SC-- Eulin Dean "Ed" Love, 84, of 140 Powell Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Ellie Mae Wyatt Love and was the son of the late James Arthur and Lizzie Mullinax Love. Mr. Love retired from Startex, was a U.S. Army
veteran, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are two sons, Alan Love and wife, Angela (Dumpy), and Rodger Love and wife, Kathy, all of Gaffney; three daughters, Pamela Goforth and husband, Marshall, Roxanna Haynes and husband, Donald, and Angie Sellers and husband, Jerry, all of Gaffney; three brothers, Fletcher Love and wife, Pat, of Gaffney, Eugene Love of Lawrenceville, GA, and Vic Love of Gaffney; a sister Wanda Sue Green and husband, Doug, of Helen, GA; nine grandchildren, Tammy Hancock and husband, Todd, Marie Head and husband, Jeff, Madora Love, Michael Love, Kim Crowe and husband, Wayne, Kaycie Mooring and husband, Lamont, Jennifer Haynes, Adair Haynes and Dustin Sellers and wife, Jessica; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Robertson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Torina Love, a granddaughter, Erica Sellers, a brother, Kelly Love and two sisters, Betty Robertson and Mary Gaffney.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wofford Caughman officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens with military honors.
