CHESNEE, SC-- Helen Vera Cooley Foust, 90, widow of Edward Foust, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.
Born September 30, 1922, in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of Arthur E. Cooley and Bertha Honeycutt Cooley. She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Richard Foust and wife Lisa of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Nancy Watson and husband Ronnie of Inman; grandchildren, Travis Watson and wife Sonja, Mandie Roberts and husband Randy, Jennifer Deloye and husband Jason, Stephanie Anderson, Brittany Foust, Mitchell Foust, Kiersten Foust and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Hudson and Wenford Cooley and a sister Evelyn Tate.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Sandy Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family would like to thank Evergreen Memory Care at Eden Terrace and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for all their compassion to Mrs. Foust.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of The Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
The family is at the home of Nancy and Ronnie Watson, 755 E. Long Bay Drive, Inman, SC.
