SPARTANBURG, SC-- Maxine Morris, 76, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at home. Born 4/12/1936, in Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Wilma Morris. She was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired after 38 years of service as a shipping clerk with Pentex.
She is survived by her twin brother, Max Morris and wife, Judy of Cowpens; a sister, Carolyn McGlohon of Spartanburg; a nephew, Jeff Morris and wife, Julie of Cowpens; a niece, Tammy M. Johnson and husband, Harry of Chesnee; and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, at Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens, officiated by Rev. Henry Coley and Rev. Dennis Burger. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
