Opal B. Hammock
ANDERSON, SC-- Opal Louise Beall Hammock, 90, of 112 Medallion Drive, Lyman, SC, widow of George Frank Hammock, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born June 25, 1920, in Calhoun, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lucius Edward and Myrtle Smith Beall.
Surviving are her son, Millard Eugene "Gene" Hammock of Anderson; two granddaughters, Mara Hodge of Irmo and Malisa Looney of Anderson and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 6, 2010, at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel with Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Northeast Chapel, 3205 Hwy 81 N.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
