Daniel McKnight Obituary
BOILING SPRINGS, SC- Daniel 'Danny' Bryant McKnight, 71, of Boiling Springs, SC, died in a plane accident on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
Danny is survived by three daughters; six grandchildren; three sisters; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Spartanburg Marriott Hotel, Heritage Ballroom, 299 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, with a memorial service following at 4:00 PM, conducted by Brother Derek Gertzen.
Memorials may be made to Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses via www.jw.org.

Where do I start McKnight Family? I've known Danny since he was a teenager and I was about 4 or 5, in the Riviera congregation. Dad would go and See Carl and Laverne. Danny was always a kind gentlemen, shepherd to the congregation, encouragement to our family when we needed it most. Much love and prayers to all of you and the loved ones you have lost, we will see them soon! Dave and Esther McCarty

The next voice he hears will be Jesús saying come out. Danny it's time! The man although very strong was also very gentle and loving. He used to pick up his daughters and grandchildren with the greatest care and love you could ever imagine. Danny would always tell you what you needed to hear. Not necessary what you wanted to hear. We loved him as a brother and dear friend. Only a few will understand what I am going to say now. Go long. See you soon

So sorry to hear of this terible accident that temporarily took the life of our dear brother McKnight, He will return soon, God promises this will happen & he doesn't lie!
Carol was in the same congragation with Danny many moons ago in Cutler Ridge. He was very much liked & respected as a Brother. May Jah comfort you during this sad time.

So sorry for the loss of your brother and father. We have known Danny since our childhood in Miami and grown to love him as a brother and friend. I know you are all looking forward to seeing him again in a paradise right here on earth.

Danny was definitely the patriarch of the family. He would have been so shocked at the amazing amount of people that showed for the funeral. We are all so happy to know such a man who truly displayed the fruitage of spirit. Hebrew 13: 7describes him well when it reads "Remember those who are taking that are taking the lead among you, .. and as you contemplate how their conduct turns out, imitate their faith." We are all so sorry for the loss of all three amazing servants of Jehovah.

Our condolences from the Oliva family. Danny or Mr.McKnight as I always refer to him. He was a coworker , mentor and friend at South Motors BMW for Over 25 Years. We got along great. It brings back memories of Danny falling of the latter, and telling me Hot Shot nothing keeps McKnight down.I was fortunate enough to run into Danny at Sonny's barbecue in Homestead about 2 years ago .i am very sorry for your loss.Lee Oliva
