Eva "Bunt" Wallace

GAFFNEY, SC-- Eva "Bunt" Turner Wallace, 91, formerly of 400 Forest Lane Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Peachtree Centre.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Leighton "Skeet" Wallace and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward Turner and Elizabeth Spencer Turner. Mrs. Wallace retired from textiles, was formerly employed by Daniels Den of Flowers and was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 43 years.
Surviving is a daughter, Peggy W. Clary and husband, Marvin, of Gaffney; three grandsons, David L. Clary, Dr. Jeff Clary and wife, Ashley, and Bruce Clary; seven great-grandchildren, Brett Clary and wife, Lauren, Caraline Clary, Leighton Clary, Meg Clary, Molly Clary, Bethany Clary and Kaitlyn Clary; and two sisters, Christine "Chigger" Robertson and Catherine T. Hill, both of Gaffney. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Turner, Jack Turner and Robert Turner.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Magnolias of Gaffney, Peachtree Centre and O'Kesha Smith for their love and care.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clyde Thomas and Rev. Stuart A. Kersey officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
