Lilly Pearl Bishop Obituary
Boiling Springs, SC-- Mrs. Lilly Pearl McPeters Bishop, 94, of Boiling Springs, went home to be with the Lord, September 28, 2018. A native of Burnsville, NC, she was the widow of Gus C. Bishop and the daughter of the late Clarence McPeters and Cordilla Harris Boone. She was a spinner in the textile industry, a member of New Life Baptist Fellowship and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, quilting and sewing.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Lynell Lytle of Spartanburg, Wanda Sue Clayton (Tom) of Holden Beach, NC and Deborah Dale Hammett of Boiling Springs; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur McPeters and her sister, Mary Hensley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Life Baptist Fellowship. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bill Harris officiating. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
