Mary B. Lancaster
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mary Jo Blackwell Lancaster, 74, of 2049 Evergreen Drive, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at her home. Born September 14, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Gaither William Blackwell, Sr. and Virginia Faye Henson Blackwell and wife of the late Harold Lee Lancaster. She was retired from Kohler Company and a member of North Spartanburg Free Will Baptist Church where she played piano.
Mary was an awesome mother and grandmother to her son, Curtis Lee Lancaster of Inman; daughters, Melisa Roxane Smith of Boiling Springs and Cynthia Lynn Smith (Russell A.) of Gray Court; grandchildren, Lee Emelio and Shandi, of the home, and Bryan Lancaster, Becky Milan, Justin Lancaster, Magan Lancaster, and Luke Milan; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Peggy McClain and a brother, Gather Blackwell, Jr.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sammy Sutton and the Rev. Earl Hendrix. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or to Mobile Meals Service, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.

Lancaster family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother , I worked with her in the late 90's at Kohler as well as your late Father. I lost my Father back in August of last year and I have found that if we trust in the Lord he will carry you through the hard times.
