Olin Richards Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Olin D. Richards, 76, of 564 Owens Drive, Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at his home. Born November 21, 1934, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Talmadge Richards.
Mr. Richards was of the Baptist faith and a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force after 21 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Johnson Richards; four daughters, Deborah McLees and Sandra Hammersley both of Spartanburg, SC, Patricia Pritchard of N. Charleston, SC, and Pamela Bailey of Summerville, SC; and a step-daughter, Cheryl Smallwood of Inman; seven grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel. Private burial services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to ATTN: Gaffney Office, Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
