CHESNEE, SC-- Mr. Stephen Vincent Edmonds, 58, loving husband of Tammy Allen Edmonds for 39 years of Chesnee, SC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 4, 2013, at Mary Black Hospital.
Born on November 20, 1954, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of H.C. Edmonds and the late Loreita Waldrop Edmonds. He attended Graham Chapel Church and was a former solider of the U.S. Army and a retired truck driver.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law, Stephen J. and Megan Edmonds of Mayo; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Dawn and Douglas Temple of Fountain Inn; brother, David Edmonds; sisters, Velma Seay and Dianne Coleman; grandchildren, Kourtnie Edmonds, Kimberly Wright, and Breanna Brooks; great-grandchild, Zoey Wright; three very special kids that called him Papa Steve: Faith, Anzleigh, and Haley; and his two loving dogs, Ozzy and Lexi.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Graham Chapel officiated by Rev. Preston Edmonds. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the residence.
