SPARTANBURG, SC--Voncyle Scott Wilson died January 15, 2014 at Mountainview Nursing Home. Born May 18, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Alma Sprouse Scott.
She retired from Belle's Beauty Shop as a hair stylist and was a member of Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Mary Collins Flower Club, WIBC Bowling Hall of Fame, and Spartanburg Cosmetology Association.
She is survived by a sister, Shirley S. Harmon of Spartanburg; a brother, James "Jim" Cannon Scott of Spartanburg; two nieces and four nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Electa S. Barrier, a brother, Samuel Ward Scott, Jr. and a nephew.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 20, at Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church with Rev. Mac Kinnett officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
