Mary Fowler Padgett
PACOLET MILLS, SC-- Mary Fowler Padgett, 87, of Pacolet Mills, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 25, 1924, in Pacolet, she was the widow of Roy "Brandy" Padgett, and daughter of the late Dewey Lee and Exie Womick Fowler. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Deloris Blackwell and husband Thomas of Gaffney, Shawn Shoemaker and husband Richard of Cowpens; son, Darryl Padgett and wife Debbie of Pacolet; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Fowler and husband James of Jonesville.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2012, at Browns Chapel Baptist Church, by the Rev. Ralph Jett and the Rev. Dr. Tim Fowler. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
