J.W. "Grub" Belue
LANDRUM, SC-- J.W. "Grub" Belue, 86, of Landrum died April 26, 2012. He was the son of the late Emsley and Ethel Pruitt Belue. He was married to the late Belva Ray Belue for 64 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a truck driver.
He is survived by two daughters, Peggie Stott and husband James of Columbus and Evelyn Coggins and husband Art of Landrum; three brothers, Jamie Belue and Donald Belue both of Landrum and Gene Belue of Union; four sisters, Shirley Camp of Taylors, Doris Thompson, Dale Campbell and Brenda Camp all of Landrum; seven grandchildren, Keith and Ty Stott both of Columbus, Sharon Stockman of Boiling Springs, Kathy Phipps of Columbus, Mark Coggins of Landrum, David Coggins of Ohio, Celeste Tanner of Charleston; 11 great grandchildren; and a special friend Betty Pittman. He was predeceased by two sisters, Willie Maude Cash and Helen Lyda.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00pm Saturday at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Keith Stott and Rev. David Coggins. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
