Janice R. Boyter
ROGERS, AR-- Janice R. Boyter, 64, of Rogers, AR, passed away in her sleep Monday, April 30, 2012, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, AR. She was born February 24, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC to her father, Vester Boyter and her mother, Frances Fortenberry Boyter.
Janice will be remembered for her strength, courage and determination. She loved her children and the outdoors. She would go for long walks, ride her bike, spend time at the movies and cherished her time with friends and family. A few of her hobbies were tending to her plants, reading, collecting coins and collecting butterflies at work.
Janice was a member of the Energy community outreach committee and volunteered her time at the Children's House and Faith in Action. She attended Bentonville Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years.
Janice is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Frances Boyter; one daughter, Melody Gentry and husband, Dusty of Ottawa, KS; one son, Timothy Tarbox of Batesburg, SC; one grandson, Brett Tarbox of Aiken, SC; three sisters, Michelle Belcher, and husband, Cliff of Wellford, SC, Wanda Chesney and husband, John of Spartanburg, SC and Debra Edmonds and husband, Ricky of Enoree, SC; and her friend, Terry Woodside of Rogers, AR.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the Stribling Funeral Home.
