Mrs. Jennie Ruth Kerns Teamer
INMAN, SC-- Mrs. Jennie Ruth Kerns Teamer, known to all as "Aunt Jennie or Grandma", was born August 22, 1931, and entered rest on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
A native of Union County, SC, she was the daughter of Mr. Willie Smith Kerns and Mrs. Queen Ester Browning Kerns. She was the widow of Forest Teamer, Sr.
She attended Holden Chapel Baptist Church for years until her health began to fail. Later she became a member of Sigbee Church of Christ.
She was employed with Spartan Undies for 33 years. She enjoyed talking to her family over the phone. She also would let everyone know when one of our loved ones passed.
Mrs. Teamer leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to, two daughters, Betty (William) Dawkins and Diane (Oliver) Tate, Jr.; three sons, Forest (Linda) Teamer, Jr., Jerry (Sarah) Teamer and Larry (Marlene) Teamer; one sister, Emma Geter; three brothers, Otis (Ruth) Kerns, Jesse (Melba) Kerns, and Luther Kerns; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Diane Tate, 116 Shoally Park Drive, Spartanburg, SC.
