Della Bell Camp
LYMAN, SC-- Della Bell Camp, 84, of 1 Pacific Street, Lyman, SC, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at home after a brief illness. She was the widow of William Camp.
Born in Saluda, NC and a daughter of the late George T. Bell and Bessie Peace Bell, she was a member of the First Baptist Church Lyman and was retired from Springs Industries.
Surviving are daughter, Diane Dillard and her husband, Danny of Simpsonville; two sisters, Margie Bell and Matilda Bright of Zirconia, NC; three grandchildren, Joe Dillard and wife, Terra of Spartanburg, Rev. Bradley J. Dillard and wife, Sarah of Mooresville, NC, and Ashley Dillard Whetsell and husband, Kent of Holly Hill, SC; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin Dillard, Gabriel Dillard, Brooks Whetsell and Daisy Diane Whetsell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at First Baptist Church Lyman. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg.
Visitation will be held in the church, 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The family is at the home of Diane and Danny Dillard, 110 Country Side Lane, Simpsonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Lyman, 80 Groce Road, Lyman, SC 29365.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Faye Sullivan and Dorothy Howard.
