Olin D. Lynch
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Olin D. Lynch, 75, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at his home. Born May 14, 1936, in Newberry County, SC, he was the son of the late Joseph Daniel Lynch Sr. and Annie Lee Condrey Lynch. Mr. Lynch was retired from Lynch's Welding Service after 55 years of service. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Lee Nichols Thompson; daughter, Cathy Ann Lanford of Lake Bowen, SC; son, Darrel Lynch of Watertown, NY; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie Lee Emory of Inman, SC; brother, Herman Lynch of Greenwood, SC; and stepsons, Wayne Thompson of Springfield, SC, Jeff Thompson, Todd Thompson, and Marty Thompson, all of Boiling Springs, SC. He was predeceased by a son, George Daniel Lynch; sister, Lucille Price; and brothers, Herbert Lynch, J. D. Lynch, and Conrad Lynch.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, by the Rev. Gary Hensley. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
