Jane Sturgill
WELLFORD, SC-- Jane Elizabeth Meeks Sturgill, 62, of 316 Church Street, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was the wife of John Claude Sturgill of the home and the daughter of the late Ernest Charles Meeks and Dorothy Lee Thompson Meeks. She was a homemaker and member of the Jackson Baptist Church.
Survivors also include a son, Bobby Sturgill of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Susan Cannon of Duncan; two brothers, Ronnie Meeks of Spartanburg and Billy Meeks of Boiling Springs; a sister, Linda Evans of Boiling Springs; and 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Aubree and Haley Cannon and Caleb Sturgill.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Perkins Cemetery with Rev. Jim McMakin and Rev. Michael Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service at The Stribling Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Jackson Baptist Church, 2662 John Dodd Road, Wellford, SC 29385.
