Elnora Montgomery Littlejohn GAFFNEY, SC-- Elnora Montgomery Littlejohn, 59, of 1301 Fairview Road, Gaffney, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, in her home. Wife of Donnie Ray Littlejohn, she was a daughter of Vernice Dawkins Montgomery and the late Julius Montgomery. Elnora was a 1970 graduate of Gaffney High School and a retired employee of Hoechst Celenese and Invista. She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she served as President of the Usher Board, President of the Ministers' Wives, Trustees' Wives, and Deaconess Board. She was a member of the Praise Singers, Adult Sunday School Class, and Y.W.A.s. Elnora was a member of Tamin Court 122 Daughters of Isis and Theta Beta Gamma Sorority. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Allen. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Donnie Leron Littlejohn of the home; a special son, Raleigh Edwards of the home; four sisters, Esther Byers (Rev. Lee), of Gaffney, Carolyn Watson (Terry) of Duncan, Sheila Posey (Frankie) of Gaffney, and Andrea Mahone of York; a special friend, Donna Tate (Wallace) of Gaffney; six brothers, James "Red" Montgomery, Eddie Montgomery (Margie), Robert Montgomery, Matthew Montgomery, Crawley Montgomery, all of Gaffney, and Terry Montgomery (Karen) of Chesnee; nieces raised as her children, Kathy Allen, Lisa King, Yolanda Allen, Sylvia Davis, Letite Ratchford, and Willie Mae Coleman; aunts, Lenora Camp, Bobie Dawkins, Lottie Dawkins, Shirley Cumberlander, Maxine Anderson, and Wilma Davis; and uncle, Calvin Dawkins. Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. C.A. Wallace officiating and Rev. Lee Byers delivering the eulogy. Interment will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. She will lie in state in the church Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Gilmore Mortuary
