Margaret E. Brannon
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Margaret Eveline Carson Brannon, 83, of 43 Shady Lane, entered eternal rest on June 7, 2012 at the Mary Black Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of the late Mr. King Brannon and the daughter of the late Mr. William Carson and Mrs. Mary Bates Carson. She was a member of Holden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served, on the Chancellor Choir, served on the Missionary Board and People's Benefit Society. Mrs. Brannon was also a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Brannon was a caregiver and very well known for her passion to cook for everyone.
Mrs. Margaret Brannon was preceded in death by her husband.
Mrs. Brannon leaves to cherish fond memories: three daughters, Mrs. Brenda Carson, Mrs. Shneeka Hughes and Mrs. Leslie Geter all of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, Mr. Scott Brannon of Spartanburg, SC and Mr. Rick Makupson of Cowpens, SC; one brother, Mr. Willie J. Carson of Cherokee Springs, SC; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is at the home of her daughter Brenda, 434 Kingston Street, Spartanburg.
