Billy Floyd Davis
BOILING SPRINGS, SC- Billy Floyd Davis, 77, of Boiling Springs, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Windsor House West-Spartanburg. Born August 18, 1934, in Spartanburg, he was the husband, for 58 years, of the late Ruby Ernestine "Ernie" Davis, and son of the late Abe Jefferson and Lillie Lee Splawn Davis. He was a U. S. Army veteran, a member of Fairview Baptist Church, and retired from Chemical Leaman Tank Lines. Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Randy Davis and wife Darlene of Boiling Springs, SC, Keith Davis and wife Teresa of Spartanburg, and Teresa Gaddy and husband Ron of Inman; grandchildren, Amanda Grabarkiewicz, Matthew Davis, Lindsey Gibson, Danae Kimsey, and Ryan Gaddy; great-grandchildren, Koda Kimsey, Gracie Wilson, Chelsie Grabarkiewicz, Allie Grabarkiewicz, Mia Parks, Laura Parks, Abbie Grabarkiewicz, Jerrett Mason, and Trevor Mason; sisters, Martha D. Berry of Inman and Mary D. Robbins of Chesnee; brothers, Willie Davis (twin brother) of Moore, Jimmy Davis, Robert Davis, Howard Davis, and Paul Davis, all of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by grandson, Stephen Jason Davis; sisters, Gladys Hammett and Virgie Ward; and brothers, Charles Davis, Abe Davis, Elbert Davis, JD Davis, and Carl Davis. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2012, at Fairview Baptist Church, by the Rev. Dr. Ron Gaddy, the Rev. Keith Davis, and the Rev. Ty Childers. Burial with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
