Geneva Jones
INMAN, SC-- Geneva Newman Jones, 81, of 5130 Highway 9, Inman, SC, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the home of her son, Richard in Beaufort South Carolina. She was the loving wife of the late Virgil Jones for 60 years, a loving mother and Nannie to many.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pat Jones of Beaufort, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Darrell Hinson of Granada, Nicaragua; brothers, Raymond Newman (wife Patricia) and Leon Newman (wife Sheila), both of Campobello Ten grandchildren, Wendi Lively, Kevin Jones, Erik Bradley, Lindsay Driggers, Katie Grimes, Kris Stepp, Greg, Benjamin, and Dustin Hinson, and Gretchin McGuinn, as well as fifteen great-grandchildren, also survive her.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and working in her yard. She was an active lifelong member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, with services following at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. David Driggers. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
