Ernest Eubanks

CAMPOBELLO, SC-- Ernest Eubanks, 87, of 8935 New Cut Rd. Campobello died June 8, 2012 at his home. He was the son of the late Ernest and Lily Johnson Eubanks and husband of Leegeenee McMakin Eubanks.
He was a retired carman for Southern Railway, a peach farmer and a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in New Guinea, Southern Philippines and Luzon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth Eubanks (Mariam) and Warren "Cotton" Eubanks (Evelyn); two daughters, Karen Fowler (Marvin) and Jennie Sullens (Rick); six grandchildren, Mark Eubanks, Brooke Williams, Dr. Ashley Fowler, Joseph Fowler, LaRee Jolley and Rev. Clint Sullens; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters Louise Williams, Julia McDowell and Marion Hayes; and one great granddaughter, Ellison Fowler.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 12 from 2:00 to 3:00 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 conducted by the Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Clint Sullens. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
