Sherry Lynn Coates
INMAN, SC-- Sherry Lynn Fowler Coates, 48, of 3040 Compton Bridge Road, Campobello, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg.
Sherry was born in Cowpens, SC, on June 26, 1963, a daughter of the late Ellena (Wall) and Howard L. Fowler and was the wife of Roger Coates.
She was a homemaker and was bookkeeper and accountant for Coates Cabinets for a number of years.
She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Spartanburg and a former member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church where she was very active in the children's ministry
Sherry is survived by a daughter, Tosha Huggins and husband Adam of Inman; a son, Steve Smith and wife Teresa of Inman; a sister, Tammy Fowler of the home; a brother, Keith Fowler of Valley Falls, two grandchildren, Rhianna Lynn Smith and Lochlan Daniel Smith.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 16th, with Rev Gary Hensley and Rev Todd Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Inman, SC.
