Christy Elayne Howell
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Christy Elayne Howell, 52, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 14, 2012.
She was born in Union, SC on April 30, 1960, to Ruby Howell Jones and the late Garvis Taylor Howell.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Mark Nash of Spartanburg; her daughter, Leslie Nash Gowan (Adam) of Inman; brother, Chuck Howell (Pam) of Myrtle Beach; and sister, Debbie Silvey of Duncan. Christy is also survived by her beloved dog "Charlie Brown;"; her former husband, Edward Nash; and numerous other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home on Sunday, June 17, 2012. A funeral service will follow immediately after visitation. Interment will be at the Good Shepard Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
