SPARTANBURG, SC-- Margaret "Peg" Roesch Patrick, beloved wife of Ralph Edward Patrick, Jr., died June 13, 2012, at her home. Born February 11, 1933, in Erie, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Vera Jennings and Carl Joseph Roesch.
Margaret was a graduate of Erie Academy High School and attended Mercyhurst College. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Elizabeth Heath Book & Study Club, the Piedmont Club, Magnolia Debutante Club and Questers Antique Group.
In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by their children, Kimberly Patrick Pitman and her husband William Liston Pitman, Sr. of Greenville, South Carolina, Courtney Patrick Jorgensen and her husband Jeffrey Gene Jorgensen of Germantown, Maryland, and Melissa Patrick Buskirk and her husband Mark Buskirk of Port Royal, South Carolina; grandchildren, William Liston Pitman, Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, Sophie Catherine Jorgensen and Erin Margaret Jorgensen of Germantown, Maryland, and Abigail Jennings Buskirk of Port Royal, South Carolina; step-grandchildren, Andrea Rae Buskirk of Charleston, South Carolina and Thomas Edward Buskirk of Port Royal, South Carolina; her sister, Marilyn Smith and her husband Glenn Smith of West Chester, Pennsylvania; her brother, Herbert Roesch of Port Byron, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for 3:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2012, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina, conducted by the Rev. Claire Ripley and the Rev. Patricia Gwinn. A reception will be held following the service at the Piedmont Club.
