Arvenia B. Tucker
INMAN, SC-- Arvenia Bush Tucker, 86, of 230 Abernathy Road, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Tucker was a native of Spartanburg and a daughter of the late Thomas and Janie Edwards Bush. She was a retired employee of Spartan Mills and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a son, Danny Tucker of Spartanburg; daughters, Mary Jane Ward and Patricia Bryant of Inman; brother, James Bush of Landrum; sister, Beulah Workman of Landrum; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Tommy "Pete" Tucker.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Heritage Memorial Gardens officiated by Chaplain Rick Millwood. The family will meet friends following the service at the gravesite.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Free Clinic, 162 N. Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
The family will be at the residence.
