Mrs. Georgia Mae Rogers
MOORE, SC-- Mrs. Georgia Mae Rogers, 60, of 235 Donegal Drive, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of the Reverend Charles E. Rogers and the daughter of the Mr. Clarence Martin and Mrs. Lizzie D. Martin. She was a member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church where she served, on the Missionary Board, served on the Missionary Board and Director of the Praise Dance Team. Mrs. Rogers was also the President of the Anderson Chapter Socodous Society. Mrs. Rogers was a nurse at the Ellenburg Nursing Home in Anderson, SC. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, graduate of the Spartanburg Nursing School and Clemson University in Clemson, SC.
Mrs. Rogers leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband, Reverend Charles Rogers; one daughter, Mrs. Tamisha Artison of Roebuck, SC; one son, Mr. Adrian Rogers of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is at the home.
