Ruth Waddell
BOSTIC, NC-- Violet Ruth Waddell, 75, of 1059 Pea Ridge Road, Bostic, NC, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at her home. Born April 1, 1937, in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Brice and Etolia Godfrey Morgan. She was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg, where she was very involved with her Sunday school class.
Survivors include sisters, Gail Jones of Bostic, NC and Nancy Rollins of Beech Island, SC; brothers, Norman Waddell of Chesnee, SC, Curtis Waddell of Sumter, SC, and Darryl Morgan of Rutherfordton, NC; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Vickie Huntley.
Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Owenby. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
