Phillip Allen Stevens
SPARTANBURG, SC -- Mr. Phillip Allen Stevens, age 63, of 126 Wingo Heights Rd., Spartanburg, passed away, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Stevens was the beloved husband of Linda Brown Stevens and was the son of the late Charles Cletus Stevens and the late Betty Vandiver Workman. He was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and attended Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Stevens was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four children: Shannon, Jeff, Dawn and Tjay; two brothers: Gary and Dennis; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and his beloved pet Will.
A memorial service with military honors will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Hackett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, 2058 Chesnee Hwy., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
The family will be at their respective homes.
