Mrs. Florine S. Holbert
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Florine S. Holbert, 88, of 207 N. Thompson Street, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Spartanburg County, Mrs. Holbert was born on April 24, 1924, to the Late Mr. Berry and Mrs. Liza Bates Smith and she was the wife of the Mr. Robert Holbert. Mrs. Holbert was a member of Holden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker and caregiver to many.
Mrs. Holbert was preceded in death by her daughter Ms. Martha Holbert.
Mrs. Florine Holbert leaves her fond memories to her grandchildren, Judith Ann Holbert, Billy Joe (Spicy) Holbert, Barbara Ann Geter, Victoria Holbert, Jacquline Holbert, James Edward Holbert, and Crushaun Rice; ten great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
