Roy Hollis
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Roy Hollis, of 715A California Ave., passed Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was the son of the late Mr. Chim Hollis and Mrs. Fannie Mae Hollis. He was a native of Spartanburg County. He was retired from the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium after more than 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris Miller of Spartanburg, SC; a son, Chris Miller of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Deanna Taylor and Clara Henderson, both of New York; a brother, Robert Hollis of Connecticut; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Bishop Willie E. Rookard will officiate.
