Ed Goodwin
WOODRUFF, SC-- William Ed Goodwin, 73, of 140 Skinner Road, passed away at home on Sunday, June 24, 2012. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the husband of Wanda Goodwin, and the son of the late Dewey D. and Ella Vee Skinner Goodwin. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church where he attended the 50 to Heaven Sunday School Class, a member of Cavins Lodge AFM 226, and former employee of W. R. Grace and Spartanburg County Roads and Bridges.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are two sons, William B. Goodwin of Woodruff, and Ray Anthony Goodwin of Gray Court; one daughter, Crystal Deaton of Woodruff; one brother, Dewey R. Goodwin of Woodruff; one sister, Joan Harrelson of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Masonic Rites will be 6:30 PM, Monday, June 25, 2012 at Forest Hills Funeral Home prior to the visitation from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Unity Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Andy Parker. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
