Katherine Chapman
LYMAN, SC-- Katherine Robertson Chapman, 80, of 220 Lindsey Ridge Road, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012. She was the widow of Alvin "Buddy" Chapman and the daughter of the late Harper Robertson and Addie Revels Robertson. She was the last of eleven children and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Martin and wife Janet of Wellford, Steve Martin of Pelzer; a daughter, Kathy Guy and husband Cliff of Moore; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Bingaman.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. The interment will be at the Heritage Memorial Gardens.
