Barbara Guinn Thompson
INMAN, SC-- Barbara Guinn Thompson, 73, of Inman, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum. Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of the late Marchant L. and Ruby Caldwell Guinn.
Mrs. Thompson was a secretary at S & S Manufacturing. She was a member of Campobello First Baptist Church and loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Daniel E. Thompson Jr. and his wife Shelley of Inman; a sister, Mary Owens of Mayo; and three grandsons, Daniel E. Thompson III, Dylan R. Thompson, and Reece C. Thompson all of Inman. She was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory followed by services at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mike Edens and Rev. Joey Burnette. Private burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Rd., Landrum, SC 29356.
