John A. Punteney
BOILING SPRINGS, SC- John Archibald Punteney, 80, of 144 Suffolk Road, Boiling Springs, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Archibald and Marie Doyle Punteney, a U.S. Navy veteran of 26 years, and he attended St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Doyle and Wanda Punteney of Hanahan, SC; a daughter, Carol Ann Punteney and son-in-law, James Kint of Blythewood, SC; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, John Paul Punteney; and a brother, Gerald Francis Punteney.
Graveside services with military rites will be conducted at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
