Virginia Dimsdale
INMAN, SC-- Virginia Morrow Dimsdale, 91, of 290 Jolley Road, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Golden Age Nursing Home. She was the widow of Fred Dimsdale and was first married to the late Leroy Griffin.
Mrs. Dimsdale was a native of Polk County, NC and a daughter of the late Otis and Anna Belle Blackwell Morrow. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Alverson Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sons, Glenn Griffin of Chesnee, Paul Griffin and Dean Griffin both of Inman; a daughter, Gladys McCombs of Inman; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Alverson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. John Eggers.
The family will be at 367 Alverson Road, Inman.
