Gladys E. Smart
CHESNEE, SC-- Gladys E. Smart "Runt", 79, of 308 Old Chesnee Highway passed away, Thursday, July 5, 2012. A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Clarence D. and Grace Dill Easler. She was retired from Stouffers.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita Wylie and husband, Timothy, of Georgia; one sister, Cora Shropshire of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smart was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Ann Powell.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Cherokee Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
