Ann F. Mintz
CHESNEE, SC-- Annie Flora Fowler Mintz, 98, of Chesnee, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 9, 1913, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Julia Ann Foster Fowler, and widow of Garvin O'Neal Mintz, Sr.
Mrs. Mintz was retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a member of First Wesleyan Church of Spartanburg.
Surviving are a son, Garvin O'Neal (Bobbie) Mintz, Jr. of Chesnee; five grandchildren, Julie (Kevin) Price, Jamie (Sam) Mintz, Cherrye Chisholm, Brent (Missy) Sprouse, and Brian Sprouse; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a special sister-in-law, Gladys Mintz Smith.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Gary Long. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will follow in Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
