Gladys Louise Seay
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Gladys Louise Seay, 104, of Spartanburg died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Windsor House. Born October 28, 1907 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ibra Falls Seay, Sr. and Ada Epps George Seay. She was the oldest member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class, taught school and a former social worker.
She is survived by a brother, James Henry Seay of Moore, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the church, conducted by the Rev. James L. Oliver and the Rev. Ken West. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 229, Roebuck, SC 29376 or Mobile Meals Services, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
