SPARTANBURG, SC-- Keyon Ja'far Dawkins, 1 year old, of 108B Norris Ridge Apt., died September 12, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was son of Tamicha Dawkins and Rodney Nesbitt of Spartanburg.
Surviving are his sisters, Markeia and LaKeia Dawkins and Sameira Nesbitt, all of Spartanburg; a brother, Nashiem Smith of Spartanburg; his grandparents, Mrs. Sandra McHam; grandparents, Mrs. Yvette Smith (Perry) and Reginald Thompson of Spartanburg; great-grandmother, Myrtle Thompson; three aunts, Trena Dawkins, Christon Field (Glenn) and Relesha K. Thompson of Spartanburg; four uncles, Timmy Dawkins, Lamar Nesbitt, Reginald S. Thompson and Jaymes Williams, all of Spartanburg.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Billy Ray McHam.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Green Bethel Baptist Church, Old Pacolet Cowpens Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Rev. Mills McHam will officiate.
Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
