Angela "Ann" J. Woody
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Angela "Ann" Joan Cox Woody, 56, native of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at her home. Born May 24, 1956, she was the widow of Harold D. Woody and daughter of Henry Cox of Spartanburg and the late Dot Smith Cox.
Mrs. Woody was a former employee and volunteer of Safe Homes Networks and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Parton and Eric Parton and his wife Patricia, all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Steven Eric Parton, Jr., David Parton, Ashley Parton, Brandon Parton, and Emily Parton, also of Spartanburg; sister, Cindy Pettit of Arcadia; special neighbor, Josh Bailey; special friend, Wally Owens; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. James Arcuri. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
