INMAN, SC-- James "J.D." Douglas Perry, 77, of 285 Westayer Heights, died October 8, 2012.
A native of Cashville, son of the late Thomas Wayman and Annie Faye Neal Perry, he was a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing, a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Virginia Goff Perry of the home; three sons, Keith Perry (Deanna) of Martinez, GA, Brian Temple (Suzanne) of Spartanburg and Dwayne Temple of Sugar Tit; two daughters, Gail McHone (Dennis) of Landrum and René Bouknight (Sammy) of Pomaria; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Temple of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Betty Thompson of Greer; one granddaughter, Katie Pack, twelve other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Anthony Temple.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Bellview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Kevin Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Anderson, Daniel Temple, Nathaniel Temple, Dale Turner, Zach Temple, James Temple, Scotty Scott and Timmy Scott.
Visitation will be held 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of a son, Brian Temple, 136 Falling Creek Road, Spartanburg, SC.
