INMAN, SC-- John Charles "Johnny" Hahn, 79, peacefully went into the arms of his Heavenly Father after fighting a courageous battle of a myriad of illnesses. His life was spent surrounded by a loving family and an abundance of friends.
Left to cherish loving memories are, his wife of 55 years, Dorothy "Jean" Hahn; a daughter, Tammy Hahn; granddaughter, Hahna Tapp and her husband J.J. Tapp; and great-grandson, Charles "Charlie" Tapp who is Johnny Hahn's namesake.
Mr. Hahn was predeceased by his son, Chuck Hahn.
The Hahn's are blessed with many close friends that have become extended family. These friends and loved ones include; Lee and Angie Ross, Bill and Vivian Taylor, Gene and Eloise Pittman and Steve Wood.
Mr. Hahn was a lifetime member of Bailey Lodge #146, Woodman of the World, a Shriner, and a member of Praise Cathedral in Greer, SC. Visitation will be from 2:30-3:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, with funeral to commence at four o'clock at Praise Cathedral conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden. Interment will be held at Wood Memorial Park immediately following.
Donations may be submitted under Mr. Hahn's name to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
